Description

If you've felt anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated, or hopeless about the climate crisis — you're not alone. And you don't have to process it alone.

Retriever Integrated Health invites you to a powerful campus conversation combining film, research, and real student experiences.

GenZ Climate Stories & Student Well-Being

This event features a screening of GenZ Climate Stories, followed by a guided discussion on how climate change is shaping students' mental health, identity, and daily life. Facilitated by Dr. Greg Peterson, national expert on climate change and mental health.

You'll explore how eco-anxiety, climate grief, and uncertainty affect focus, sleep, motivation, and long-term planning — and learn practical ways to cope, build resilience, and turn concern into meaningful action.

Why this matters?

Climate distress is real, valid, and increasingly common among college students. Some communities face even greater climate-related stress and risk. You deserve space to talk about it.

What you will gain?

• Individual knowledge on how climate change leads to anxiety and stress
• Access to tools to manage eco-anxiety and stress
• A welcoming, student-centered space for open conversation

All students welcome No Registration Required. Bring your questions, your voice, and your hope.

This event is open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
