Connectionary: Rethinking Research (CAHSS)
Location
Sherman Hall : 150
Date & Time
April 17, 2024, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Description
How do you get involved in research opportunities on campus? How do you connect with others around research? This dialogue is focused on staff and students discussing their involvement with research on campus. The goal is for people with similar field interests to come together and talk about how they got involved with research, how to come up with research topics, or current projects they are doing. Whether you are a research expert or just getting started, this event can broaden the way we all think about research. Join Khiara Diaz (a ConnectionCorps facilitator) for a conversation about research experiences at UMBC. Light refreshments will be available.
This event is mainly for students in CAHSS, though all are welcome.
The Connectionary program series is hosted by the Center for Democracy and Civic Life to encourage and foster opportunities for conversation about issues that affect our lives here at UMBC.
