Description
UHS will be running a Red Watch Band program. The Red Watch Band program is designed to end alcohol overdose deaths by teaching students how to handle emergencies and get professional help in situations. Drinking is an occurrence on campuses across the nation. Frequently, so much alcohol is consumed and the drinker(s) pass out. Although it may be thought that "sleeping it off" is the solution, the drinker(s) may be quietly dying from toxic drinking. It is a problem that students should learn to tackle.
Everyone receives a certificate and red wristband for completing the 1.5 hour training program.
There's FREE food at the training!
This training is open to all UMBC students. Please register on this page if you plan on attending so that we can have an accurate headcount.
