Financial Navigator Training (VITA Volunteers)

This three hour training is required to provide financial advising services via the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.  These volunteers will perform services such as explaining how to purchase a savings bond, teach clients why it is better to use a bank account than a check cashing service, and other asset development topics.  RSVP to VITA@umbc.edu if you wish to participate.  Internship credit is available to those who get certified and volunteer.
