Description
Brown Bag during training session from 12-1, optional workshop with examples and discussion from 1-2.
Interested in finding out how to search for your department’s thesis or dissertations or your lab’s works? Or wanting to learn how to submit your works to ScholarWorks@UMBC? The first hour of this session will cover navigation and search, copyright, publishers’ author agreements, non-proprietary file format, and the submission process.
The optional second half of this training will include Q & A, searches for participants to try, scenarios for participants to evaluate, and the opportunity to do a real submission to ScholarWorks@UMBC. Participants may bring their own real-life search problems, license agreements, and submissions for this portion of the training, but the instructor will have examples on hand. Participants may bring their own laptop or use of the library’s laptops.
Only UMBC Faculty may attend this event.
Registration required. Register here.
