Dear Graduate Assistants,
Every year, a collective bargaining bill is introduced in the Maryland General Assembly, but do you know what "Collective Bargaining" is? If passed this year,Senate Bill - 521 would give GAs the right to Collective Bargaining. Do you know that UMBC is currently a part of Meet and Confer?
GAAC at UMBC is hosting a special Town Hall to review our Meet & Confer process and inform you of this year's Collective Bargaining bill's specifics. We hope to hear your concerns and opinions about this bill. Please use this anonymousGoogle form to submit any questions and/or concerns you may have. We will make sure to address every concern during our Town Hall.
Our Town Hall will be held tomorrow, Thursday, February 11, 2021, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm (EST). We hope to see you tomorrow, but a recording will be available for those unable to attend.
